Kennedy Fitness & Wellness – Sewell Hosts Grand Opening Health Fair & Ribbon Cutting Event


Sewell, NJ -- (SBWIRE) -- 04/16/2018 -- Kennedy Fitness & Wellness (KFW), one of the leading gyms in Washington Township and throughout South Jersey, will host a fun-filled Grand Opening Health Fair on Tuesday, April 24 at their Sewell location, from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. and 5 – 8 p.m.

Located at 405 Hurffville-Cross Keys Road, KFW in Sewell will kick off the health fair festivities with FREE medical screenings, including blood pressure and pulse, and InBody Scans, which provide muscle and fat analysis. The event will also include "A Taste of Group Fitness," a variety of 15-minute mini classes, showcasing the type of group fitness classes available to KFW members!

Attendees are also welcome to enjoy FREE chair massages, and multiple chances to win raffles and giveaway items. A few lucky participants will also win FREE one-month KFW memberships! The health fair will also feature local vendors and complementary refreshments.

At 10:30 a.m., Kennedy Health Alliance (KHA) General Surgeon Dr. Linda Szczurek will give a presentation titled "Help! Is this a Hernia?" Anyone interested in learning about the causes and symptoms of hernias is encouraged to attend this presentation. The ribbon cutting ceremony will be held in the lobby at 11:45 a.4m., featuring special guest speakers Joann Gattinelli, Mayor of Washington Township, NJ; Dr. Greg Taylor, Head of the KFW Medical Advisory Board; and Brian Duffy, DPT, PT, Jefferson Health – New Jersey's Director of Rehabilitation.
