Kent, UK -- (SBWIRE) -- 06/06/2014 -- The leading social care service provider and healthcare recruiter, KentSCP Nursing, is pleased to announce that the organisation has been awarded a place on the NHS Procurement Collaborative managed by NHS Commercial Solutions covering the south of England from Buckinghamshire across Oxford downwards. The area includes: Kent, East Sussex, West Sussex, Hampshire, Berkshire, West Berkshire, Surrey, Somerset, Dorset, Devon and Gloucestershire. This announcement comes during a time of rapid expansion of the company across the south and east of England.
Kent Social Care Professionals Limited has not stopped growing since the inception of the company in 2006 by Director and founder, David Fennell. With the head office based in Maidstone, Kent, there are three further branches in Bexley, Surrey and Aberdeen. All branches specialise in the recruitment of health and social care staff for private individuals, residential care homes and hospitals thanks to a team of more than 30 experienced healthcare recruitment professionals. The Director made these comments following the announcement:
“I set up Kent Social Care Professionals because I recognised the need for an agency that clearly understands the diverse support needs of vulnerable people living in our communities.
KentSCP is a large and rapidly expanding organisation with a dedicated team of experts in health and social care, who provide a caring service to clients within their own homes, to residential care homes, and to community outreach programmes. Working with the NHS further reinforces our commitment to maintaining high standards of care and nursing throughout the communities in the south of England.
We are newcomers to this Nursing Framework, and we have Amanda, Crystal and Rachael out in the field for us now. They are all experts in health and social care recruitment, and have the experience required to ensure the supply of high quality Nursing staff.”
Commenting on the award of the new national framework agreement for the provision of nursing and nursing related staff to the NHS, the heads of the four leading NHS procurement organisations said:
“We are pleased to confirm the establishment of a new framework agreement for the provision of nursing and nursing related staff, for use by NHS organisations located across England. The agreement came into effect from 14th May 2014.
The agreement is the output of a ground-breaking joint collaborative initiative undertaken by four NHS procurement organisations: NHS London Procurement Partnership (LPP), North of England Commercial Procurement Collaborative (NOE CPC), NHS Commercial Solutions and East of England NHS Collaborative Procurement Hub.
We believe that by working together, and combining national buying power with our strong regional and local engagement, we have been able to deliver a highly competitive agreement that really meets the needs of the NHS. We look forward to working with the appointed supplier organisations to ensure the cost effective delivery of these services to the NHS.”
The team at KentSCP Nursing do not expect this to be the only big announcement they make over the coming months as the company is expanding into other areas of the UK. KentSCP is also working hard to further improve the quality of training and education in the health and social care sector by setting very high standards utilising in house experts and working with external authorities.
