As Kim says in her video, it is not important how many calories people eat in a day for weight loss, but more important is how they structure their meals and what kind of calories they consume.
Kimberly consumed around 1300 calories per day from which 45 % were protein, and only 35 % were carbs, and she ate her carbs before 5 pm. That way during the evenings her body was forced to start burning fat for energy. In fact, Kim is sharing the exact meal plan that she followed to lose 16 pounds.

Another thing she did along with eating a protein diet were morning workouts on her empty stomach. At first she thought that she will not have enough energy to do them, however when she started, she found the workout plan very easy and enjoyable.
She bought a weight loss program that had 9 full body workout video and all she had to do was hit the play button and follow the lead of Aline, the weight loss coach who created the diet program.
Kim became good friends with Aline, and because of this, in her YouTube video she is sharing the first 2 workout videos from the weight loss program.
Kimberly also said that losing weight was easy for her because she followed a plan that worked not only for her, but also for other women. She was a member in a Facebook group formed by women who were following the same weight loss program and most women were losing 3 to 5 pounds every week.
