Kingston, NJ -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/28/2016 -- Family lawyer and mediator Hanan M. Isaacs is the final speaker for the 23rd Annual Conference of the New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators (NJAPM). His presentation is on mediation ethics for civil and divorce mediators.
An acclaimed public speaker, Mr. Isaacs's topic is "Thinking Globally, Acting Locally." The November 5th conference is titled "Mediation, Inside and Out." It will be held at The Imperia in Somerset, NJ.
The conference theme reflects inner work, including psychological techniques and insights, improving mediation skills, building the practice, and successfully dealing with impasse.
Mr. Isaacs's presentation will be interactive, using online ethics case studies and solutions developed by the American Bar Association's Dispute Resolution Section. With 18,000 members, that Section is the world's largest dispute resolution organization.
Said Isaacs, "As an experienced lawyer and a mediator, I am called upon to represent parties in mediation, and at other times to serve as a third party neutral. The skillsets of mediation and lawyering are quite different, yet they are complementary in actual practice."
Isaacs said he was pleased to present the ethics portion of the conference.
