Kitchen Designer Creates New Business Model for Busy Clients

Philadelphia, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 08/31/2017 -- Meetings take place at your kitchen table. His showroom is a Mt Airy twin. His business, Airy Kitchens, is working to turn the Philadelphia kitchen remodeling industry upside down.

Sean Lewis, the owner of Airy Kitchens started his new business in March 2017 and has helped busy Philadelphia clients save time and money. He brings samples, swatches, and catalogues to clients in their homes. His showroom is a functioning victorian kitchen in his home in Mt Airy. Sean is able to reduce the cost of interior design and spend more time with his clients in their homes.

Mr. Lewis spent twelve years designing in Brooklyn, NY. "I learned a lot about making the most of my space and money. The world is becoming more mobile. So why work from an office downtown or spend money on a big showroom?

I'd rather have customers stop by my house for a drink and see my space function as a real family kitchen. I'm not just saving myself money, I'm saving them money and time."

Lewis describes his work as "a fresh take on a traditional kitchen". He enjoys creating kitchens for old homes that look like they could be original, but also feel modern. He creates environmentally conscious kitchens and likes to salvage existing elements like built-ins, cabinets and flooring. Outdoor kitchen design has become a recent hot item in the Philadelphia and Montgomery County Pa areas.
