Mountainside, NJ -- (SBWIRE) -- 01/22/2016 -- La Crème Modeling/Acting LLC New Jersey's number one modeling agency, will sponsor a fashion gala supporting a worthy cause on Feb. 20, 2016. The gala, a subdivision of New Jersey Fashion Week, will benefit Melody Bialkowski, an inspiring La Crème student with a rare form of brain cancer.
Bialkowski, who recently turned 18, has been battling Ependymoma brain cancer for the past three years. As a student of La Crème, Bialkowski has directed her attention towards perfecting her craft and expanding her passion for acting and modeling into a possible career.
Patricia Pinto, the founder of La Crème shared her thoughts on Bialkowski and La Crème's upcoming gala. "I am so dedicated to each and every one of my students, so it broke my heart to hear of Melody's story and the struggles she faces." She continued, "I really want to use our fashion gala as a platform to highlight Melody's story and bring awareness to this rare form of cancer that she is fighting every day of her young life."
The event is sponsored by La Crème Modeling/Acting LLC as well as local businesses in an effort to give back to today's youth. Participants will have the opportunity to be exposed tothe super scouts of the modeling/acting industry, as well as top of the line designers.
