Lamar Hunt Jr. continues to support the Loretto Foundation, which contributes to the Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas organization. The organization has a special fundraising dinner coming this October.
Kansas City, KS -- (SBWIRE) -- 09/14/2015 -- Lamar Hunt Jr., director of the Loretto Foundation, continues to support Catholic charities in the Kansas area through financial and physical contributions. The Loretto Foundation is an active booster of the Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas, which is hosting the 3rd Annual Gathering this September to benefit the Catholic Charities Foundation.
The 3rd Annual Gathering is an event for women, centered around fundraising and quality dining. On October 6, at Urban Table in Prairie Village, Kansas, chef Alex Staab will prepare locally sourced dinner fresh for attendees of the gathering event. Chef Alex will prepare food on site while educating attendees on at-home cooking techniques to replicate his meal.
Attendance cost for the 3rd Annual Gathering event is set at a base price of $85 per attendee. Attendee sponsorship of the event is also for purchase at three price levels: Seedling $500, Market $1,000, and Interpreter $2,500. The 2014 gathering successfully raised more than $10,000 for the New Roots for Refugees charity, more than 100 women attended the event.
