Lamar Hunt Jr.'s Missouri Mavericks signed two new defensemen last month ahead of their 2015 season opening. Patrick Cullity and Wes Cunningham both have experience playing in the ECHL.
Kansas City, MO -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/02/2015 -- Lamar Hunt Jr.'s ECHL team the Missouri Mavericks have hired defensemen Patrick Cullity and Wes Cunningham to play on the team for the 2015-16 season. The two men have previously played defense positions for teams in the ECHL and will be moving to Missouri this fall.
The Canadian native Wes Cunningham is a defenseman with an extensive experience playing for a number of teams. Cunningham has played hockey internationally, returning to begin playing for the Mavericks this season after playing overseas for France. He has also played for the American Hockey League with the Norfolk Admirals and the Mavericks affiliate Bridgeport Sound Tigers. Cunningham has been playing in the ECHL off and on for seven years.
Patrick (Pat) Cullity will be playing for the Mavericks after five seasons playing off and on in the American Hockey League and ECHL. Cullity began playing in the AHL after playing for the University of Vermont for four seasons. He has played more than 250 games in professional hockey since he started playing in 2009.
