Kansas City, MO -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/02/2015 -- Lamar Hunt Jr.'s Missouri Mavericks have added two additional left wing players to their team roster ahead of the 2015 ECHL season opening. Last season Johnston scored 42 points for the Reading Royals and 14 additional points for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms while he played in their AHL games.

Scott Allen, the second left wing the Mavericks signed, has less experience than Johnston but has played some games in the ECHL. Last season was his first time playing in a professional league, he scored for the Colorado Eagles in his ECHL debut. Before the ECHL, Allen spent four seasons playing for the University of Alaska-Anchorage hockey team.
