Kansas City, MO -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/15/2015 -- Lamar Hunt Jr.'s pro hockey team, the Missouri Mavericks, have added a new program ahead of the 2015-16 ECHL season to help them recognize companies that support the team. The "Pillar Partners" program was announced on October 13, it will be featured throughout the 2015-16 season through community events and fan interaction at Mavericks Games.

"As we work to grow the Mavericks brand throughout the Kansas City metro, it was important for us to find a way recognize the partners who have been with us for some time, and join us in our mission and expand the footprint of hockey throughout our city," said Lamar Hunt Jr. "The Pillar Partner program is our way of showcasing the companies who have committed their own brands to the success of ours."

Featured "Pillar Partners" include: Central Bank of the Midwest, CCR Roofing Services LLC, Centerpoint Medical Center, and Penn National Gaming Inc.
