Lamar Hunt Jr.'s ECHL Team Assigned 3 Players

Lamar Hunt Jr.'s Missouri Mavericks announced October 21 the assignment of three new players from the Bridgeport Sound Tigers.

 

Kansas City, MO -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/26/2015 -- Lamar Hunt Jr.'s Missouri Mavericks announced the addition of three players to their ECHL team from the AHL team the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. Pat Cullity, Carter Verhaeghe and Loic Leduc will join the Mavericks in Independence, MO this week. The new team members will play in the first home game of the season on October 24th at the Silverstein Eye Centers Arena.

Pat Cullity had experience playing with teams in both the ECHL and the AHL before he signed with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers and was eventually assigned to the Mavericks. Carter Verhaeghe spent time playing for the Bridgeport Sound Tigers this season and was originally drafted by the NHL team the Toronto Maple Leafs. Loic Leduc played for the NHL team the New York Islanders and played one game with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers before being assigned to the Mavericks.

The newly assigned players will join the team after the Mavericks trade of Patch Alber to the Adirondack Thunder. The first game of the season will be held October 24, single game tickets are available at http://www.ticketmaster.com
