Lamar Hunt Jr.'s Mavericks Announce Adopt-a-Mav Auction

Lamar Hunt Jr.'s ECHL team will host a live player auction immediately after their upcoming November 7 game at Silverstein Eye Centers Arena.

 

Kansas City, MO -- (SBWIRE) -- 11/03/2015 -- Lamar Hunt Jr.'s Missouri Mavericks will hold the Adopt-A-Mav Auction this week on Saturday November 7 immediately following the 7pm home game. First the Mavericks will face the local rivals the Wichita Thunder and then after the game the live player auction will be held in sections 101 and 102 in the Silverstein Eye Centers Arena.

The Adopt-A-Mav event will allow families to bid in a live auction for Missouri Mavericks players with special prizes awarded season long to the winning families. Families who successfully adopt a Mavericks player will win a custom Mavericks necklace for Kennedy's Custom Jewelers as well as an autographed hockey stick from their player.

Winning families from the Adopt-A-Mav event will be featured on their adopted player's helmet via sticker for the duration of the season. The families names will also be featured on game programs passed out at future home-games. Additional prizes awarded to the families who adopt a player include: discounts at the Top Shelf Team Store in the Silverstein Eye Centers Arena, post game meet and greets, bowling event, Missouri Mavericks hosted dinner at Stonehaus Winery, and more.

The end of the 2015-16 ECHL season will conclude the Adopt-A-Mav program for the season and winning families will receive a game-worn jersey as well as a helmet with their family sticker.
