Lamar Hunt Jr.'s ECHL Team Features League's Goalie of the Month

Lamar Hunt Jr.'s ECHL team the Missouri Mavericks feature the league's “Goaltender of the Month,” Josh Robinson. Robinson was announced as the selection for October on Wednesday November 4.

 

Kansas City, MO -- (SBWIRE) -- 11/05/2015 -- The Missouri Mavericks, owned by Lamar Hunt Jr., announced the prestigious selection of their own goalie Josh Robinson as the ECHL "Goaltender of the Month" on November 4. The Wednesday announcement came after the official ECHL announcement of Robinsons' selection as Warrior Hockey ECHL Goaltender of the Month for October, the opening month of the 2015-16 season.

October 21st Robinson was originally awarded the title of "Goaltender of the Week" by the ECHL after his performance during opening week in the 2015-16 season. The awards have been given to Robinson after his stand out performances so far in the 2015-16 ECHL season with the Mavericks.

Robinson has accomplished two shutouts so far this season with the Missouri Mavericks including the October 23 game against local rivals the Wichita Thunder. The 25 year old North American native had an impressive 0.98 goals-against average in the first month of play this season, allowing him to lead the league in goals-against average.
