A GROWING COMPANY

Law firms have learned that they must have a quality marketing program to be successful, she said. Because most attorneys specialize in various areas of the law, they don't always have the time to devote to promoting their business, she added.

"This is not their fault. In order to be the best lawyer possible, an attorney has to focus on the law and what is happening within that area of the law. That doesn't leave much time to devote to advertising, web site maintenance and recruiting new clients," Ms. Portis said.
