Scottish Tourism On The Rise Due To Perfect Ski Conditions
Edinburgh, Scotland -- (SBWIRE) -- 01/13/2014 -- According to statistics in the Crystal Ski Industry Report, France is the most popular ski destination and the choice of 34.6% of travelers, although the gap is shrinking with Austria that now hosts 27.9% of the UK skiers. However, industry statistics also show a relative new comer to the top echelon of ski locations with Scotland. There, the best ski conditions for more than ten years, where Scottish tourism officials report ski accommodation bookings are up 500%. With this trend in mind, Les Rennie, spokesperson for Le Chardon Mountain Lodges has launched a campaign to make travelers aware of the Scottish offerings in their own backyard.
Says Rennie, "Over the last two decades we have designed, built and run Le Chardon Val Disere Mountain Lodges with a passion. We have delivered guests with the finest 5 star food, service, atmosphere and comfort in the French Alps. Since the late 1930s, Val d’Isere has been a Mecca for snow-sports lovers, offering some of the most varied and challenging skiing in the world. The diverse terrain of this internationally renowned resort is combined with that of the neighboring resort Tignes to complete the Espace Killy."
The resort, offering a first rate family chalet val disere, according to Rennie, prides itself on gastronomic food and fine wines. "There, you can rest assured that dinner will be the highlight of your day. Each of our chalets has its own executive chef and team whose sole job is to create extraordinary food day-in and day-out, ranging from delicious, nutritious breakfasts, to afternoon tea and cakes in front of the log fires and fabulous five course evening meals. We delight the senses in our luxury catered ski chalet in Val Disere."
As the ski season begins to wind down, Le Chardon is offering an incentive to travelers wishing to experience the lodge. Rennie confirms. "Throughout January, we are delighted to offer a 20% discount on all remaining sole occupancy chalet bookings. The offer is subject to availability on all remaining weeksavailable during the 2013/14 ski season, when confirming your booking before January 31, 2014."
