San Diego, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/17/2019 -- Light Roast Playing Cards is an all-new poker playing cards project started by an American designer Siavash Mortazavi and Expert Playing Cards Company. The most distinctive design element of these Light Roast playing cards is that they stick to basic geometry and avoid curves. Moreover, to introduce these cards to the world, their designer has recently launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter with a goal to raise a sum of US$ 4,200.
"By avoiding curves, we are introducing new modern-looking suit symbols (pips). These cards minimize facial features to the barest possible to provide an abstract look and feel. We have also changed the traditional layout of number cards, which gives an animation effect, when the cards are flipped through." said Siavash Mortazavi, while introducing this project to the Kickstarter community.
