After its highly visible participation in Moda360’s New York installation in June 2014, the entire team at Linger Magazine is prepping for the introduction of its annual editorial initiative on the West Coast in the spring of 2015.
The 2014 Themed Pictorial Challenge is currently underway and submissions are beginning to pour in. The Themed Pictorial Challenge launched in April 2011 after Tiffany Tate, founder and editor-in-chief of Linger Magazine, decided to create an annual editorial challenge for creative talents in the fashion and beauty industries to join forces, display their talents cohesively and be featured exclusively on the cover and within the pages of Linger Magazine’s annual commemorative print issue.
During Linger Magazine’s initial involvement with Moda360 in New York City this past June, Ms. Tate was asked directly by Deb Pokallus, CEO of Bel Esprit, to bring their artistic view on fashion to its Los Angeles installation. Ms. Tate knew then that the Themed Pictorial Challenge was a perfect way to feature emerging designers in an artistic way, yet playing a pivotal role in supporting Moda360’s vision of creating a new concept in fashion promotion.
