Hian Technologies sees partnered project entered at LSBU SHAPE design show
England, UK -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/30/2014 -- Hian Technologies has just helped their first of what will be many students create a 3D printed project. The recent pairing with a London South Bank University student to produce an ergonomically designed kitchen knife is the next step in community innovation. The project was showcased at the SHAPE show alongside 40 other final projects.

They were pleased to be able to work on this automated kitchen knife and cutting board project, that aims to make life less challenging for those suffering with osteoarthritis by decreasing the exertion needed that complicates joint stiffness. The entire case of the automatic knife was printed in less than a day on their Stratasys Elite 3D printer.
Students are encouraged to submit their project ideas to Hian Tech for the opportunity to get their idea printed for free.
