Love iBooks Week Has iTunes Gift Card Prize for Valentine's Day

Launching another reader appreciation giveaway at Her Ladyship’s Quest, fantasy author Tracy Falbe shows her Valentine’s Day love for her iBooks fans with an iTunes gift card prize drawing.

Battle Creek, MI -- (SBWIRE) -- 02/12/2014 -- On Monday Tracy Falbe started Love iBooks Week at her blog to thank readers on Apple’s reading platform for supporting her fantasy novels. The prize drawing for a $15 iTunes gift card redeemable at the U.S. iTunes is accepting entrants through Valentine’s Day. On February 15th she’ll randomly select the winner and email the prize.

“My novels have gotten some great ratings from iBooks readers over the years, and I appreciate their generosity,” Falbe said.

The epic fantasy Union of Renegades: The Rys Chronicles Book I currently has a 4.5 star rating out of 24 ratings in the U.S. iBooks store. This opening novel of The Rys Chronicles introduces readers to a man scarred by bad deeds who answers the call of a heroic cause. The rys are the magical race Falbe developed for her fantasy world. They rule over humans, often as religious figures, and use people as pawns in their power struggles.

Another novel set in the fantasy world of the rys is Rys Rising: Book I that begins a prequel series to The Rys Chronicles. Rys Rising: Book I has so far received only 5-star ratings from readers.

Rys Rising: Book I begins the epic telling of how a rys female named Onja challenged the creators of her magical race and then became a goddess over many human kingdoms. The Rys Rising series has a mythological scope and builds toward a great war that ends one age and begins a new one defined by the rys.

Falbe crafts large sagas with many characters and multiple civilizations. She lets readers see conflicts from both sides and draw their own judgments and insights about them. Across each series, the many storylines are eventually woven into a final climax.

Falbe began selling her novels in the iBooks store when it launched in 2010. Apple’s ebook reading platform remains an important distribution channel where readers in over 50 countries can sample and buy her fantasy fiction.

Visitors to her blog Her Ladyship’s Quest can browse all nine her fantasy iBooks titles on the same page where they enter the gift card drawing.
