According to Jensen, “Developing a hybrid route environment is less frequent in foodservice distribution because one of the key drivers for foodservice is cube utilization. Given that priority, potential customers are not looking at hybrid solutions as it is seen to be taking away from trailer cube. The drive now is to find a complete CooLift solution at most locations. There is discussion of a lot of route rationalization to separate customers who will require full pallet delivery and CooLift customers who can be better served with the CooLift system.”
