Even though they feel ignored and lost because of health and wealth, it is still possible to prove to them that the society has not abandoned them, by care and closeness.
Bamenda, Cameroon -- (SBWIRE) -- 11/26/2013 -- As one of the founding goals the Modern Advocacy Humanitarian Social and Rehabilitation Association – MAHSRA is to be of humanitarian assistance to the needy and most vulnerable persons especially in their hour of desperation. It has been a regular custom for them to organize, donate and spend some time with the sick and the societal disadvantaged persons during particular periods of the year since 2006.
From some observational analysis, MAHSRA has estimated that the hope and energy for personal development diminishes by 74% between the 23rd of December to the 2nd of January and this period is particular for accumulating much of these human degenerative energies with regards the target groups of on-bed sick and other disadvantaged persons.
Thus, the project: ‘You are Not Alone’ is of vital important to MAHSRA and the target group of persons because it presents the occasion to demonstrate the true nature of mutual concern for the needy persons who always feel abandoned. It will also serve as a highly calculated and strategic care giving and hope building philanthropic/humanitarian assistance initiative for needy human inspirational development.
Funds raised from this campaign will be used for
1. The purchase of nutritional, laundry and other body-care materials to support the on-bed sick, Orphans and Disabled persons found within hospitals, orphanage homes and handicraft centers between the periods of 24th December 2013 to the 2nd of January 2014.
2. Engage the services of specialized moralists and social constructivists in-charge of redeeming a spirit of self-motivation.
3. Build the inspirational capacities of these vulnerable persons towards more assured subsistence means and ways of sustaining themselves as soon as they get well.
4. Create a new line of supporters for human worrying situations such as the ones they have been in.
