Herndon, VA -- (SBWIRE) -- 12/12/2017 -- Mascot Books announces the release of The Travels of Adventurous Alexander and Relentless Russell: Dominican Republic by Kristina Kozak.
Do you love a good adventure? Well, join these two brothers on a monster jeep tour to a farm, an elementary school, a chocolate plantation, and much more. You will be introduced to someone mysterious. So what are you waiting for? Pick up a book and start traveling!
Kristina is an elementary school teacher who lives with her husband and two sons in Cranford, NJ. She attended Kean University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education and fine art as a double major. The art classes she took prepared her for drawing the illustrations in this book. These days she uses her creativity in the classroom. Her current position is a Literacy Coach. Kristina reads picture books to her students every day. The wealth of experience and knowledge has given her many lessons in story writing. Another passion is taking recreational photographs (including photos seen in the book). Additionally, she enjoys attending Zumba classes (she has been dancing since age 5), going to her sons' extracurricular activities, and of course traveling. She plans on writing a whole series displaying other places they have visited and the adventures they went on. She loves their family pet Cooper, an Australian Labradoodle. Maybe you will see him pop up as Curious Cooper!
