Masquerade Ball to Benefit Bridging AZ

Arizona's largest furniture bank beneficiary of event presented by Designers Circle Headquarters Southwest

Scottsdale, AZ -- (SBWIRE) -- 09/15/2015 -- A festive MASQUERADE BALL to benefit Bridging AZ takes place on October 24, 2015. The event, presented by Designers Circle Headquarters, (http://www.designerscirclehq.com), includes delectable food, wine, entertainment, raffles and live auction and takes place at the Roseo Design Center in the Scottsdale Airpark beginning at 6:00pm.

After doing volunteer work for two domestic violence shelters eleven years ago, Jim and Donna Piscopo had a vision and passion to create an organization that would provide beds for the thousands of local children who go to sleep each night on a cold, hard floor and to help families transition into permanent housing. From that original vision Bridging AZ has become Arizona's only first and largest furniture bank, and now collects new and gently used furniture for distribution to qualified, agency-sponsored individuals and families in need. To date, Bridging AZ has provided over 250,000 items and over 200 social service programs have benefited. In addition, a Veteran furniture program was recently launched to train and engage Veterans, primarily those disabled. The apprenticeship program taught by Veterans, professionals and business owners teaches craftsmanship and manufacturing techniques as well as business management.

"Events such as the Masquerade Ball, presented by Designers Circle Headquarters Southwest, create awareness and help us raise needed funds to sustain our organization," says Jim Piscopo, founder of Bridging AZ. "We are so grateful for the community support in helping us fulfill our mission of empowering people and bridging lives to self-sufficiency."

Roseo Design Center is located at 7550 East Greenway Hayden Parkway, Suite 110, Scottsdale, Arizona 85260.

Tickets for the event are $100 and may be purchased at http://www.bridgingaz.org
