Meet Kayal Robotic Joint Replacement Center's Mako Robot

Franklin Lakes, NJ -- (SBWIRE) -- 07/08/2019 -- The public is invited to meet the Kayal Robotic Joint Replacement Center's Stryker Mako robot during presentations on Wednesday, July 24, and Wednesday, Sept. 25.

During the events at Hackensack UMC-Pascack Valley, Dr. Robert A. Kayal, founder, president and CEO, and Dr. Victor Ortiz, chief of hip services, will explain the important role the robot plays before and during total knee replacement, partial knee replacement, patellofemoral replacement and total hip replacement surgeries for patients from Ridgewood, NJ, and beyond.

Dr. Kayal and Dr. Ortiz are specially trained to use the robotic arm. The result is greater precision and control during surgical procedures. Combining the robotic arm with the surgeon's skill and experience can result in faster recovery times and better outcomes.
