Seattle, WA -- (SBWIRE) -- 02/27/2014 -- The British-Turkish actor Mem Ferda (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1570873) , is to do a cameo in the new action thriller BREAKDOWN. The movie features Craig Fairbrass (Rise of the Footsoldier) as a professional contract killer, who is compromised by visions of his violent past as he tries to defend his family from his merciless employers. The film is being shot on location in and around London and Essex.

The film is Written and Directed by Jonnie Malachi. The rest of cast includes James Cosmo (Game of Thrones), Emmett Scanlan (The Fall), Mem Ferda (Pusher), Olivia Grant (Mr. Nice), and Tamer Hassan (The Business). Luke Fairbrass is producing for screen 360.

Mem Ferda plays the role of Hakan Abaci. A self made, uber-confident Turkish Gang Boss. Though, it is a cameo part in the movie, the role really packs a punch and will without doubt leave viewers flabbergasted.

Mem Ferda has long been admired for his triumphing characterful roles. He is an actor who is very well liked in the industry, both on and off film sets. The veteran actor was born in October 1963 in Chelsea and was attracted to acting from very young age. However, he didn’t make it his profession until many years later. After graduating LAMDA (The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) with a Post-graduate degree in Classical Acting his career rocketed to dizzy heights.
