Metro Tech Design Student Wins SkillsUSA Contest

 

Oklahoma City, OK -- (SBWIRE) -- 07/23/2015 -- Antwan Briscoe recently won the SkillsUSA contest for his extraordinary graphic design skills. Briscoe, at the encouragement of his Metro Tech Graphic Design teacher Roxanne Shively, won the 2015 SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference Pin Design Contest, competing against 500 students for the award.

His work will be featured on a pin and provided free of charge to 14,000 attendees at the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference in Louisville, Kentucky. He will also receive recognition on the official SkillsUSA website as well as in conference publications and at the actual conference.

Briscoe is a second-year graphic design student at the Metro Tech South Bryant Campus and has been an artist for his entire life. Metro Tech offers a popular graphic design program for those who are interested in pursuing this type of career.
