ModernDomicile and Habitat for Humanity of Bergen County partnered to successfully complete this humanitarian initiative of charitable giving, to families who needed the support. The recipient families participated in a lottery to win the donation of furniture and interior design services for a specific room, after which ModernDomicile provided various furniture pieces from their showroom and designed a living room, a wonderful bedroom for two girls, a family dining room, and the 4th family was presented with a gift certificate.
ModernDomicile are purveyors of modern furniture and interior designers catering to both residential and commercial clients. The core concept behind the company is their commitment towards responsibly managing business relationships with both the manufacturers of the furniture and the end customer. Habitat for Humanity is an international organization working towards the elimination of homelessness and poverty housing from the face of the earth. The organization uses volunteer labor and donated funds and materials to build or rehabilitate simple, decent, homes and sell them to low income families at cost but with no interest charged.
