Montreal, QC -- (SBWIRE) -- 11/04/2014 -- Painter Dominique Marcotte has been immersed in the world of art and artistic endeavors since he was 8 years old. A self-taught painter, much of his artistic influence was developed under his father, an architect.

When Dominique paints, he relaxes in his studio in order to give his feelings free reign. This imbues his spatula and essentially the masterful painting work he finalizes there. Marcotte paints abstracts that are full of color, originality and light. Over the last three years, Marcotte has completed a total of 49 unique pieces with each painting showing the admirer a universe with a different atmosphere full of vitality and spontaneity. Some of the titles of his current series include "In The Time", "Dynamic", "Exploration" and "Ying & Yang".

There comes a time in the artistic life of every artist when they must exhibit their work and that time has come for Dominique. To be able to do this, he has launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds to allow him to exhibit his painting at a prestigious Montreal art gallery for a week. The funding raised through this campaign will go to marketing, advertising, and the gallery opening which will have to include printed invitations and catering.

Angel investors helping fund the Dominique Marcotte Gallery Exposition Project campaign to the next level will be eligible for perks such as thank yous and lithographs of Dominique’s paintings.
