A recent study conducted by Kiwi Movers suggests that moving in together can in turn lead to relationship breakups and this is backed up by some pretty shocking figures too. 87% of couples moving into their first house together suffer from relationship problems with 80% of those even splitting up within the first year.
Furthermore, even couples simply moving to a new house together can suffer too. One in ten people surveyed said that their relationship was called off after their move and three-quarters of people said that they suffered some kind of relationship difficulties at this time of their lives. This is no doubt because of the stresses that come with moving house and not just the financial stresses either. 34% of these people actually break up because of minor conflicts and disagreements that only come about out of tiredness.
