A 'filling' is used to repair a tooth that is affected by decay or fractures. In one appointment, the decayed or affected portion will be removed and the tooth will be cleaned-and-filled. Composite-fillings are white-colored and can closely match to the color of existing teeth.

Orthodontic-Treatment is one of the most-basic and effective ways to make a child's smile into an attractive smile. The benefit with Interceptive Orthodontics is that they can start treatment earlier and take advantage of the growth of the child's teeth for better alignment and cooperation.

For many children, sealants are available to act as protective-barriers against decay-causing bacteria and acids. They offer a number of sealant-services to help promote oral-health and hygiene in kids. This plastic-material is usually applied to the chewing-surfaces of back teeth in order to protect them. The procedure is simple and takes only a few minutes with long-lasting results. The sealant will remain in place and protect the tooth during eating and development. This type of procedure can be beneficial to any child and will help ensure the health and longevity of their teeth despite less than perfect oral hygiene.

The need for emergent-care can often be avoided with safe-practices during sporting events. They are happy to teach the parent and children a number of things they can do to help them protect their teeth and gums. Regular cleaning and maintenance services will help prevent tooth decay which can cause damage and painful infection. Wearing a mouth guard during sporting events is one way to protect those important teeth and ensure they stay put while playing your favorite game. With both of these preventive measures effectively in place, they can help the child avoid emergent trips to the dentist.
