New and Innovative App "Student IDeals" Seeks Crowdfunding Through Kickstarter to Offer an Opportunity to Connect Students with Businesses Around Campus

Los Angeles, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 06/04/2014 -- The Student IDeals app is destined to become the best pointing device in the world. The phenomenal technology works like magic when touched by a student's fingers. See all about how it works here:

Student IDeals™ was developed by some recent college graduates to help students get more for their money and take control over their daily shopping and spending experiences. College students everywhere will be able to discover great new places and save money every time they buy while easily sharing all of their experiences with friends. The talented people behind Student IDeals want every student to pick up their phones and easily identify student-friendly spaces around them to make their lives easier.

Starting in Los Angeles, with plans to expand nationwide over the next year or so, this app helps merchants around college campuses promote their business to students with discounted offerings and student special experiences. This bridges the gap between students in need of a delicious meal, much-needed products and services, and local merchants who are happy to provide discounts for everything a student needs. Smartphone access with accompanying recommendations and rewards along the way makes life easier for everyone.

Student IDeals team is completely free to use, and was validated on one LA campus last fall. Now they need funding to bring it to 34 million college and High School students across the US.

Student IDeals seeks crowdfunding for:

-Building the next version of their app. They want to close the loop between students and merchants, making it easy to redeem discounts, gather achievements and share discoveries.

-Branching out to all of Los Angeles. They want to enhance their marketing and acquisition strategies so that they can scale efficiently to reach as many people as possible.

-Growing the Company and “super serving” users and merchants

This campaign started on May 29 and will close on July 13, 2014 (11:59pm PT).
