New Make Africa Great Online Talent Show Seeking for Stars


Rosenberg, TX -- (SBWIRE) -- 06/21/2016 -- A new online talent show aimed at showcasing African talent is awaiting its first video entries. Winners of the Show Your Talent, Get Rewards, and Make Africa Great contest will be announced monthly as from February 2017, with cash prizes of $300, $200, and $100 up for grabs for the winning entries.

Make Africa Great is aimed at discovering hidden talent in Africa and creating opportunities for upcoming stars to appear in the global entertainment limelight. A smart phone or video camera is all that is needed to participate.

The idea for Make Africa Great originated with a former radio talk show host who branched into the entertainment world and realized African talent needs a platform to propel them into the global entertainment arena.

Anyone can enter the Show Your Talent, Get Rewards and Make Africa Great contest on There are no limits to the talents that can be showcased. From singers to musicians, comedians to magicians, and dancers to film makers – everyone is invited to enter.

Three winners will be chosen monthly, with the closing date for the first entries on 31 January 2016. The best video will receive a cash prize of $300, with $200 going to the runner-up and $100 to the third best video.

After January, videos that are received between the first and last days of the month will compete against each other and the winners announced by the 15th of the following month. Viewers opinions are important to the judges. Therefore, people are encouraged to visit Make Africa Great's YouTube channel and nominate their favorite videos by dropping a comment or giving it a thumbs up.

Videos should preferably be between 5 and 10 minutes long, with a clear picture and good sound. Make Africa Great will not allow videos that promote violence, animal brutality, pornography, or any other unacceptable footage. Winners will be paid through WorldRemit.
