These included Cafe Crown Latte, by Yildiz Holding, Kahve Dunyasi 2si1 Arada and Kahve Dunyazi 3u1 Arada (2-in-1 and 3-in-1 products) in a number of flavours, such as pistachio, caramel and chocolate, by Altinkiclar Gida San ve Tic AS, Beta Caffito by Beta Group of Companies, and 1-cup instant coffee brand Shazili Hazir Turk Kahvesi by Shems Gida San ve Tic Sti Ltd. This led to increased consumer demand for coffee products at the end of the review period. Another factor that stimulated growth in 2013 was increased distribution of coffee products.

In 2013, Tchibo GmbH maintained its leading share of coffee in Azerbaijan with 11% of retail volume sales, which was achieved through strong position in both fresh as well as instant coffee with 10% and 14% volume shares, respectively. Tchibo enjoyed an off-trade value share of 9% in coffee in 2013 and ranked first. The company?s coffee products are successful mainly due to its strong Tchibo brand varieties and the consumer loyalty it commands.
