New Mezzanine Designs and Layout Created by MSS Houston

Humble, TX -- (SBWIRE) -- 01/29/2014 -- New design and layout of mezzanines are now available at Material Storage System (MSS) Inc. The new design is said to be the benchmark of innovation as more materials are used to create a convenient and high-end finish.

The new mezzanine designs of MSS are still in accordance with the IBC 2006, ASCE 7-05, 9th

Edition ASD AISC Steel Construction Manual, and OSHA Laws and Regulations. The design capacity will still depend on the specifications of the client but it is able to handle 125 lb/ft2. Of course, the material used is tested to be durable as ever. The columns are made of structural 5 inch square tubes, and the beams are made of structural wide flange.

As with the framing bolts, the ASTM A325 is used but of course, better volts are used when necessary. The anchor bolts come in at 5/8 inches diagonal and X5 inched LDT. In case the client would need a stairway, the following specifications are created:

Designed from 12ga. Checker Plate
Min Run: 11”
Max. Rise: 7”
36” Wide Stair Tread
Closed Risers
Hand Rail Height: 34”
Rail Design: Top Rail with 2 Mid Rails

The new design and layout will feature the ability of MSS to deliver innovative creations, as always practiced over the years.

“Material Storage Systems (MSS) considers the product characteristics as well as other factors such as available warehouse space and height, product flow, and warehouse equipment being used to determine the type of racking system that will be most efficient and cost effective for your individual needs. The first step is to listen to you so we have a good understanding of your unique situation, then to propose the solution that we think is best based on our expertise and experience, and finally to work with you to modify the system based on what will and will not work based on your particular set of requirement,” as said in their website
