New Release Advocates Getting Rid of Spiritual Baggage

Enumclaw, WA -- (SBWIRE) -- 08/09/2016 -- A woman who learned the hard way the damage spiritual baggage can do shares inspirational life lessons and practical ways to live without doubt and self-hatred in a new release: Busted: Let God's Love Restore You (Redemption Press 2016).

Karon Young, a junior-high teacher who retired in South Dakota, speaker, business owner, and wife, learned through difficult experiences that safety and security can only be found in God. She endured a sickly childhood, depression, divorce from a cheating spouse, personal bankruptcy from a failed business, and finally, terminal cancer. She says, "Wandering away from my faith led me to a series of bad decisions. My spiritual baggage was loaded with distorted thinking, unfinished business, and bad habits. I always felt guilty, like a spiritual dud who constantly disappointed God."

When she realized God still loved her, and surrendered her life to him, he began to heal her wounded heart and broken life. Out of that healing, Young gives ways in her new release, Busted, to regain hope, for those who wonder if God even cares; insight, for those who feel they have messed up one too many times; love, for those who feel like giving up on God, themselves, or both; and comfort, for those whose faith is shaken.
