- UHNWIs accounted for 2.3% of the total Dominican Republic HNWI population in 2013, significantly higher than the global average of 0.7%. During the review period, the number of Dominican Republic UHNWIs increased by 27.7%, from 188 in 2009 to 240 in 2013.
- There was a small variation in performance between the centimillionaires and affluent HNWI, increasing by 25.9% and 29.4% respectively.
- WealthInsight expects the number of UHNWIs to increase by 27.3% to reach 326 in 2018. This will include no billionaires, 48 centimillionaires and 278 affluent millionaires.
