Dr. Langsdon dedicates Memphis Medical Society Speech to reducing regulatory burdens that reduce face to face time available for treating patients.
New York, NY -- (SBWIRE) -- 02/28/2017 -- Dr. Langsdon, a prominent facial plastic surgeon in Germantown Tennessee, recently delivered a speech to the Memphis Medical Society after being named their newest president. In his rousing acceptance speech, Dr. Langsdon outlines the challenges that medical practices face today and how physicians can work to overcome them. Dr. Langsdon spoke at length about the different regulations that make it hard for physicians to practice medicine efficiently, and how that can negatively affect their ability to treat patients face-to-face.
He also emphasized educating physicians on how to overcome costly obstacles that make it harder for individual and small group practices to treat their patients.
Dr. Langsdon replaces outgoing president Dr. Tommy J. Campbell, and will serve his term for one year. Dr. Langsdon is a longtime member of the Memphis Medical Society, having been involved with the organization for over 30 years. His appointment was announced during the Memphis Medical Society's dinner installing its 140th Board of Directors, officers, and other board members.
