London, UK -- (SBWIRE) -- 08/18/2015 -- Nigel Howlett has been appointed Non-Executive Director of the disruptive predictive analytics company, Warwick Analytics.
Previously International President at IRI Worldwide and Executive Vice President at OgilvyOne Worldwide, Howlett brings extensive expertise and experience in data driven marketing, spanning the data management, 'big data' analytics, business insights, digital and communications agency arenas.
Warwick Analytics spun-out from The University of Warwick following more than a decade of academic and later commercial research. With a provenance in manufacturing, its proprietary algorithms have been used to provide predictive analytics and automated root cause analysis for companies such as Rolls-Royce, Airbus, Pfizer and Motorola. The use cases in these sectors has been improving/maintaining quality, reducing warranty costs, improving yields and reducing manufacturing and service costs through enhanced predictive maintenance.
More recently, the company has moved into the Retail, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and Financial Services sectors, addressing key value creation opportunities in areas such as dynamic/predictive customer and shopper segmentation, cross-sell/up-sell and customer loyalty; along with investment optimisation in such areas as media mix, , and price/promotion
Howlett will initially be looking to support Warwick Analytics as they expand their market share in the CPG, retail and finance sectors.
