This show took place on the weekend, of the 6th-7th May, at the Yorkshire Event Centre Harrogate. In the previous year, the event drew one-hundred and eighty exhibitors and a gate of fifteen-thousand. Because of how popular the show was in 2016, they decided to have two-hundred and sixty-four stand holders this year.

The show is said to be so popular due to the location, this is because the northern shooting lovers can enjoy a show without travelling down safe, where most of the shooting fairs are held. Adding to this, the organisers have chosen a destination to ensure that visitors can enjoy the show both indoors and outdoors. Some famous names amongst the shooting community were seen at trade stands, for example, Eley Hawk and BSA Guns, Perazzi with Ruag Ammotec and Blaser.
