Priceless works of art are not the only things hanging around the Metropolitan Museum of Art this Labor Day Weekend. It seems a few ghostly spirits may also be enjoying the weekend's festivities by taking an artful stroll through New York's most iconic museum says two seasoned New York ghost hunters.
New York, NY -- (SBWIRE) -- 09/01/2015 -- This Labor Day Weekend two of New York's noted paranormal investigators will be leading groups of courageous apprentice ghost hunters through the endless wings, hallways and galleries of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in search of ghostly spirits. After these brave recruits receive a crash course in the fundamentals of ghost hunting 101, they'll be drilled in the proper use of different electronic ghost hunting equipment as well as how to detect and even photograph signs of paranormal activity.
Pete and Stew Kandel (known as Dr. Pete and Dr. Stew) well known paranormal investigators and licensed NYC tour guides aka the "Ghost Doctors" have been exploring the Met like a scene out of an Indiana Jones movie in their quest to find its ghostly inhabitants. And it seems that they have unearthed some strange goings-on within the walls of this enormously impressive museum.
"We have been investigating the Met for quite some time and have uncovered some strange and at times bizarre paranormal phenomena," says Dr.Pete. "And this Labor Day Weekend ghost hunt should be really exciting, considering this museum has the largest collection of priceless and ancient artifacts in the world."
So with a bit of luck, some ghostly spirits who are celebrating this long holiday weekend may just want to check out those enchanted pieces of art they had their eyes on and the Ghost Doctors and their bands of hunters will be hiding in the wings to catch a glimpse.
