NYC Metropolitan Museum of Art Welcomes Charles Dickens Paranormal Adventure

Is NYC's Metropolitan Museum of Art welcoming paranormal visitations by Charles Dickens this holiday season? Possibly so, says New York's own Ghost Doctors.

New York, NY -- (SBWIRE) -- 12/01/2015 -- Tucked into an obscure corner of New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art -- resting peacefully -- are the remnants of the once famous English "Star Hotel." This Norfolk hotel was the setting for the Charles Dickens legendary novel "David Copperfield." And according to Pete and Stew Kandel (known as Dr. Pete and Dr. Stew) aka the "Ghost Doctors" paranormal investigators and licensed NYC tour guides, the Star Hotel may now be accepting reservations for some ghostly guests this holiday season.

"The Star Hotel was once the home of William Crowe a wealthy merchant who built his home back in the 16th century which was later converted to the famous Star Hotel in the latter half of the 18th Century," says Dr. Stew.

Furthermore its been said that Charles Dickens while visiting in Norfolk thought this hotel would be the ideal place for his characters to visit for his upcoming novel "David Copperfield." But could some ghostly residents also fancy a stay at New York's "Star Hotel" now conveniently located within the Metropolitan Museum of Art? You bet, especially if it includes a Dickens novel or two making it the perfect place for some spirited holiday reading.

The Ghost Doctors who lead groups of amateur ghost hunters past the Met's priceless antiquities will be adding the "Hotel" this season as a new area of interest when seeking out paranormal activity which is just perfect for a little Dickens holiday adventure.

"In the past when we investigated this room that contained the remnants of the Star Hotel, we picked up signs of unusual paranormal activity," says Dr. Pete. "And what makes ghost hunting in this historic room so unique is that when you walk into it, you actually feel like you're stepping back in time to Merry Old England."

So if one really wants to become part of a classic English novel this holiday season, then join up with the Ghost Doctors as they explore NYC's Metropolitan Museum of Art -- it should be one great ghostly read!
