NYPACE Launches New “I Love My Boss” Videos Video Series Highlights Resources Available to NYC-based Entrepreneurs

New York, NY -- (SBWIRE) -- 11/25/2013 -- New York Professional Advisors for Community Entrepreneurs (“NYPACE”), a not-for-profit organization focused on stimulating job creation and economic development in under-resourced neighborhoods of New York City, today announced the launch of two new videos as part of the organization’s “I Love My Boss” video series. The videos, featuring entrepreneurs from CROM Martial Training and Harlem Lady Real Estate Services, target entrepreneurs and small business owners in New York City and inform them of the various ways NYPACE advisors can support and help grow their business (To view the videos, go to: http://www.nypace.org/projects).

- CROM Martial Training, located in Rockaway Beach, Queens, and owned and operated by entrepreneurs Chris and Sarah Romulo, is a premier martial arts and fitness club offering a variety of class instruction including Muay Thai boxing, mixed-martial arts and other conditioning classes. After Hurricane Sandy devastated their studio in October 2012, NYPACE advisors helped Mr. and Mrs. Romulo create a formal budget, develop revised pricing plans and promotions, create a redesigned website, and manage lease negotiations for a new location.

- Harlem Lady Real Estate Services, based in Harlem, and owned and operated by entrepreneur Lupe Moreno, is a community-based real estate brokerage firm that works closely with residents of Harlem to meet their housing needs. NYPACE advisors worked with Ms. Moreno to evaluate a location for her business and assisted with lease negotiations, which provided her with additional office space to hire and accommodate three new agents.

Stephanie George, Executive Director of NYPACE said, “We are thrilled to introduce two new videos as part of NYPACE’s “I Love My Boss” video series and believe these stories demonstrate the wide range of expertise our advisors can share with small business owners all across New York City, ranging from business idea assessment and development, to financial planning and accounting, to marketing and website design.”

Previously released videos featuring other entrepreneur experiences may also be found online at http://www.nypace.org/projects.
