Oy Toys Gears Up for 25th Annual MJCCA Book Festival in Atlanta

Marcus Jewish Community Center Hosts Event That Features an Exciting Lineup of Authors, Celebrities, and Influencers in a Variety of Forums

Marietta, GA -- (SBWIRE) -- 11/09/2016 -- This past weekend, the 25th Annual MJCCA Book Festival kicked off in Atlanta, to the delight of all the attendees. The book festival is hosted by the Marcus Jewish Community Center and allows visitors to listen, meet, and interact with their favorite authors in a wide range of forums that include author meet-and-greets, book signings, community read, panel discussions, and more. Visitors to the festival can enjoy great speakers and events throughout most of November, as it spans November 5-November 20th. Many guests will recognize the return of Oy Toys to the festival – a leading Jewish toy company famous for its toys, gifts, and books for children. 2016 marks the 3rd year Oy Toys will be at the Book Festival, a remarkable achievement considering it was originally supplied by none other than Barnes and Noble.

While every year has produced memorable speakers and guests, this year's festival is especially jam-packed, with a healthy slew of recognizable names amongst the crowd. Kenny Loggins began the festivities with a talk and performance on Saturday night, but that was just the beginning. Next Sunday features Dr. Daniel Gordis, author of the first comprehensive history of the state of Israel and one of the most respected Israel analysts living in Jerusalem today. Other notable appearances include Andy Cohen on the final Sunday evening; the uberpopular host of Watch What Happens: Live, he also has a New York Times bestselling book, and will be speaking about his tour with Anderson Cooper and much more.

The Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta began more than 100 years ago by Jews with a passion for a better life. The center was created to foster a safe, secure, vibrant community of families and provide them with a place to gather and connect with others. Over the years the center has provided programs and services of distinction that attract, involve, and inspire meaningful connections to promote Jewish values.

"We are extremely excited to be a part of this phenomenal book festival once again. It is our 10th year in attendance, and the response we receive from customers is always positive," commented RuthE Levy, owner of Oy Toys. She continued, saying "Being the 25th Anniversary of the festival, I cannot wait to see all the special guests, speakers, and authors in attendance. It is going to be memorable for all involved."
