For the second consecutive year at Palmer Trinity School (PTS), 9th grade students taking World History had an interesting and exciting Skype conversation with the creator of the Big History Project (BHP), historian Dr. David Christian. Big History encompasses the history of the human existence on a broad scale, starting with the Big Bang up to the present, and even the future. It is an interdisciplinary approach that enables students to ask big questions, forms multiple connections among disciplines and produces a transformative experience in understanding the scientific origin story.

Dr. Christian currently lives in London and travels around the world presenting Big History to different audiences.

The Big History Project (BHP) is a joint effort between teachers, scholars, scientists, and their supporters. It is a multi-disciplinary approach to knowledge for learners around the world.
