Palmer Trinity Student's Submission Recognized in Youth Service America's Poster Contest

Palmer Trinity School (PTS) student, Isabella Gomez, won the Best Overall category for her submission in Youth Service America’s (YSA) Global Goals Poster Contest.

 

Palmetto Bay, FL -- (SBWIRE) -- 03/15/2016 -- "Isabella is a talented student, and we are proud she has used her creative skills to shine a further light on the need for gender equality and the empowerment of women," stated Dr. Salomon.

Launched in 2015, the contest challenges students to think critically about the Sustainable Development Goals and to create an illustration through photography, drawing, painting or graphics. The overall goal of the contest is to demonstrate how youths will "lead us to a better future."

YSA's Global Goals contest received hundreds of submissions from 24 countries around the world, covering all 17 Sustainable Development Goals. YSA is a resource center that partners with thousands of organizations that are committed to increasing the quality and quantity of volunteer opportunities for young people ages 5-25 to serve locally, nationally, and globally.
