Paul Cannon Looks to Raise $30,000 via Kickstarter for 'The ICU Balling Project'

Enhance the experience of youth sports. Footage is the name of the game and this project brings live sports footage for unseen young athletes.

Bowie, MD -- (SBWIRE) -- 03/06/2014 -- The ICU Balling project is a youth sports cyber stadium featuring a vast collection of video footage of many kinds of amateur sports with players ranging in age from 8 to 18. sports. Everyone wants to support their family members but are not always able to attend the games. This is a great fund raising opportunity because the teams share in the revenue from the cyber stadium built for each team. The ICU Balling project is broadcasting those games as live stream or video on demand.

The origins are in the Mid-Atlantic Region in which the location to begin this project is set. This will be a regional production that will highlight amateur players in North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Washington DC, and Delaware.

The film crew will come from trained students and local filming organizations. The filming will be monitored by the project’s executive producer Stephen Whetstone, an experienced technical broadcaster. Stephen has a good sense of how to bring forth the best in the videographers and broadcasting capabilities. With Stephen, Eric Hines will add additional assistance as an experienced web and mobile developer. Eric will help run the production to produce the best online video delivery.

Donations received via Kickstarter will be going towards various costs including compensating the crew, digital statistics of the athletes, high quality training of the student cinematographers, and local web specialists. Additionally, contributions are needed to rent camera equipment, sound equipment, meals for student videographers, and website software applications for statistics and other user-friendly features.

The ultimate goal is to create a web series of live events broadcasting amateur high school sports across multiple regions in the United States and help thousands of unseen student-athletes get higher education through sports scholarships each year. This can only be accomplished with adequate funding support.

This project will only be funded if at least$30,000 is pledged by Thu, Apr 10 2014 6:32 PM +05:30.
