According to the Q3 2015 Manufacturing Barometer, released by PwC US noted that capital and operational spending forecasts among U.S. companies remained healthy. Optimism regarding the U.S. economic outlook remained positive, at 60 percent in the third quarter with company revenue forecasts for the next 12 months rising to a moderately high 5.3 percent in the third quarter, compared to a forecast of 4.9 percent in the second quarter.
