Now, the organization is announcing the addition of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's (OSHA) 10-hour certification to their curriculum.
As the Camden County area's premier refrigeration technician school, Pennco Tech has a rich history of providing their students with opportunities to further their education and gain a competitive edge in their industry. The addition of this new OSHA 10 certification program will instruct students in the reduction, avoidance, prevention, and recognition of workplace hazards, and focus on promoting health and safety on their job sites.
In fact, a group of over 65 Pennco Tech students in the HVAC&R and Electrician programs at the Bristol, PA campus have just successfully completed the certification, and earned OSHA cards for construction safety and health. And based on the positive feedback and results from the training sessions, the school has decided to permanently include the sessions into their curriculum, beginning this coming October.
The first session open to the public will take place October 3rd and 4th from 5:00 PM to 10:30 PM for both nights. To be eligible for the completion of the program and receive a course certificate, individuals must be present on both sessions, in their entirety.
