Cupertino, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 07/17/2014 -- Narayan Laksham, founder and CEO of Ultriva, presented at the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) of Silicon Valley on July 10, 2014 in Cupertino, CA.

Laksham addressed how part shortages affect production schedules and customer shipments, as well as charges of inventory reduction by management. Salient topics such as how well are suppliers performing and if business is encountering late and partial shipments were also addressed. Laksham’s presentation covered the importance of Supply Chain Visibility and how it results in improved inventory and service levels.

Attendees learned what real-time visibility can do for their organization. Attendees also explored how manufacturing companies can use their supply chain to improve service levels, streamline production and optimize inventory as well as how systems driven discipline in the supply chain leads to substantial continuous improvement.
