This is said to be because Pringles tubes have a cardboard outer, a metal lining, a metal base and a plastic lid and Lucozade sports are similarly made up of different materials which can be hard to separate when it comes to recycling.

The association is now urging all companies and manufacturers to consider the packaging that they are using, not only thinking about style and design but also considering the materials that they used, aiming for them to be eco-friendly and recyclable.
